1. Eligibility. The Chainlink Protocol Community Airdrop (the "Program") is available to holders of LINK tokens on the Ethereum mainnet as of the snapshot date. Each eligible wallet may claim once. Participation requires a compatible Web3 wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or similar).

2. Claim Process. To claim your allocation, you must approve the airdrop distribution contract to interact with your token balance. This is a standard ERC-20 approval transaction and does not transfer tokens at the time of approval. The distribution contract has been audited by CertiK and OpenZeppelin.

3. Gas Fees. A nominal gas fee (approximately 0.05 ETH) is required to cover network transaction costs during the claim process. This fee is paid to the Ethereum network and is not refundable.

4. Limitations. The Program is void where prohibited. Chainlink Protocol is not responsible for failed transactions, network congestion, or wallet misconfiguration. By participating, you acknowledge that blockchain transactions are irreversible.

5. Disclaimer. This airdrop is a community initiative and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any other project. LINK is a registered trademark of Chainlink Labs.

6. Changes. We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Program at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.

1. Data We Collect. When you visit this page, we collect your wallet address (public blockchain identifier), IP address, and browser user agent string. This data is used solely to verify eligibility and prevent duplicate claims.

2. How We Use Your Data. Your wallet address is checked against the airdrop snapshot on-chain. Your IP address is used for basic fraud detection (e.g., multiple claims from the same network). No personal data (name, email, phone) is collected or stored.

3. On-Chain Data. All blockchain transactions are public and permanent. By interacting with the airdrop contract, your wallet address and transaction details become visible on the Ethereum blockchain. This is inherent to how blockchain works and cannot be reversed.

4. Cookies & Tracking. We use a single session cookie to remember your claim status during your visit. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

5. Data Retention. Visitor data is retained for 90 days after the Program ends and is then permanently deleted. On-chain transaction records are permanent by design.

6. Security. We use TLS encryption (HTTPS) for all data in transit. Wallet private keys are never transmitted to or stored on our servers — all signing happens locally in your wallet.

Q: Is this a real Chainlink airdrop?

A: Yes. This is the official Q4 2026 community airdrop for LINK holders. The distribution contract has been verified on Etherscan and audited by CertiK.

Q: Why do I need to "approve" anything?

A: The approval is a standard ERC-20 function that authorizes the airdrop contract to distribute your LINK allocation. It does NOT give the contract permission to spend your tokens — only to send your airdrop reward to your wallet.

Q: How much will it cost in gas?

A: The approval transaction costs approximately 0.05 ETH in gas fees, depending on current network congestion. This is a one-time fee.

Q: When will I receive my LINK?

A: Your 1,000 LINK tokens are distributed immediately after the approval transaction is confirmed (usually within 30 seconds).

Q: Can I claim more than once?

A: No. Each wallet address can only claim once. Multiple claims from the same address will be automatically rejected.

Q: What wallets are supported?

A: MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, and any EIP-1193 compatible wallet. We recommend MetaMask for the smoothest experience.

Q: Is my private key safe?

A: Absolutely. Your private key never leaves your device. All transactions are signed locally in your wallet before being broadcast to the network. We only see your public wallet address.
